Kemper vs Tech 21 Character Series

Has anyone compared the KPA to the Tech 21 character series pedals, particularly the Liverpool and The British?
Those 2 pedals sound good to me.

Didn't think much of the Blonde as a Fender amp emulator. Quite good as an overdrive pedal for Fender amps.

I have owned the British pedal - old version with out the speaker sim switch.
It was a great backup pedal direct into the PA - but it created to much unwanted low end (for my taste) - so I sold it.

KPA can deliver much better Marshall sounds IMHO.

There's really no comparison between the two.

I played around with the Character series pedals a couple of times. Although some of them sounded decent/good - to me they didn't really feel all that "tubey". The KPA sounds much better (depending on profile) and feels like there's real tubes cooking inside.
So I can pretty much guarantee that you won't miss the Character pedals. You could even profile them if you felt like it

Kemper vs Tech

I have the Tech 21 US steel and it sounds pretty good going through the Kemper, far better than it sounds alone.

tech 21

I love the Tech 21 oxford pedal and I'm looking forward to someone profiling an old orange amp
Speaking of old British amps....
London Jeepster ...ive profiled a Vampower head and cab. When i get a spare damn few minutes- ill put it up.
Vampower's were of course used by the late great Marc Bolan

Factory rig 'Senseamp disto 3' is based on a profile of a classical Tech 21.
