Perform Mode not available yet?

When I switch to perform mode, I get a message telling me that the performance mode is not available yet. Is this true, because the manual reads as though everything is live and kicking? :S

I think the performance mode is not yet implemented because it might actually be unnecessary. Using Midi there´s no real need ot the performance mode right now. So it might be they just dont know yet how that mode is gonna be so different from the browse mode.

Perhaps you should start a new thread with your own ideas and wishes for the performance mode.

I don't have any inside info. so this is pure speculation.
I can see performance mode having some great possibilities, esp with the KPA footswitch when it arrives.
Im thinking along the lines of a row of switches for the 5 profiles in your performance (or song as I would think of it), and another row for switching stomps on and off. Thats a lot of functionality for just one song!
Next song, move to performance number 2.
You now have instant access to 5 profiles appropriate for that song, and whatever stomps you need.
See where Im going with this?

Performance mode was implimented at the NAMM show.

Theres a video demo that shows the screen close up in performance mode.

Maybe they are testing that aspect of the OS. Its unlikely they have it (as shown in the video) and are not testing it.

Just thought you might like to know ;)
