Kemper KPA is no. 1 in guitarpreamps/processors at Thomann!

Now that's pretty awesome, given the fact that Thomann is the biggest music retailer in Europe.
The KPA is clearly a winner and I want to congratulate Christoph Kemper and the whole team for this excellent piece of gear and for being so inventive!
Thumbs up!

No, Fractal is sold exclusively via G66 in Europe.
No. 1 is the KPA, no. 2 the Pod HD500.
That means something.

Ya, when you have a huge store selling your gear it really helps a lot, like Sweetwater in the USA and others, Kemper was smart having it available in lot's of USA stores.

I think the KPA has been nr 1 for over a month at Thomann.
I'm pretty sure Fractal is just as available as they want to be.
They want to be a small boutique company and sought after.
Therefore low production, high price, slow release so they keep the demand and price up.
Their target is much less than 1% of the market. It's the strategy they have chosen and it works for them.
With new healthy kpa competition, all of a sudden the fractal waiting time for outside usa buyers dropped just recently.
So a slight change in fractal marketing strategy now.

I'm not *that* surprised given the fact what the KPA does and how well it does it...
