Any info on the Kemper controller?

Hi gang,

today I fell in love with my Kemper again (!). We did a song in the studio and it was a total blast to play the Kemper.

Currently I use a homebrew 25k Wah controller (CryBaby housing with 25k pot) and a Boss EV-5 expression pedal. The Wah controller works nicely, the EV-5 works ok, but the taper of the volume is not that great.

But now back to my question:

Any news on the Kemper Midi Foot controller? I have a Voodoo Lab GCP for my rack GCX, but I would LOVE to own a dedicated Kemper controller.

Any info on the layout of the planned Kemper Foot controller? Number of IA buttons, Tuner readout? VOL pedal/ WAH pedal/ Expression? Size? PICS?????? :P :P

Do they plan to introduce the controller at Musikmesse 2012?

I asked them in February, that I'm thinking about buying another Controller, if the KFC will not be finished in next time. So they answered, that they hope it's finished end of summer, but without any promises!
Think the Musikmesse will give a more precisely answer.

Hi,

I've spoken at length with CK about this and he sent me some drawings to hear my views. I can't comment without violating the NDA except to say that I think it looks good, it will have a tuning display, it will be a two way communication device and you will be able to switch the stomps and fx from it.

Oh, and one more thing. I want one too! 8)

Cheers,

Looking at how different the personal preferences are in term of feel, size and model of Exp. Pedals and the fact that at some point in time they WILL wear off, maybe it would be a wiser move to provide 2-4 TRS connectors and leave the choice to the users.....just my opinion...

Agreed.
And it would be nice if Kemper could help parallel projects like mDan's kempline ;-)
