MIDI, Footswitch and Assignments, the Stoopid's Guide to assign a patch/rig

hi everybody,

it toook me four hours to find this out. this for all the newbies! 8)

If you want to connect a MIDI footswitch to your KPA in order to change rig or effects do the following. Connect the MIDI
output of your footswitch to the MIDI input on the rear of your green lunchbox. THEN go to browser mode, choose a patch
of your liking. then touch the system button. you will find 6 pages. go to page four. now "assign" your rig, i.e. "tell" your KPA
to save a connection to the pedal. usually you would begin for instance to assign your favourite rhythm sound to number
one on the board, but you can do as you like.
