the bottom can be opened up in order to fold it flat when not in use
Actually is made in order to put the KPA inside the other way around and open front and back, so you can use it without taking it off the bag. ;)

Well poop. I just broke my USB stick putting it in the bag this way. Public Service Announcement - take your USB stock off before stuffing KPA into your bag. :whistling:
8o I never leave the usb plugged, only when used.

Chris, the Namba KPA is : 50x30x30 cm
The one in your link is: L: 45 cm, B: 25 cm, H: 25 cm

So first it's smaller and second I am not sure how protective it is.

I use this bag for the KPA.

Advantages:
- you can put the kpa and some cables and perhaps 1 or 2 pedals into the bag
- less expensive than the Namba bag (-50%)
- great quality
- protective
- not green ;-)

Drawbacks:
- only one pocket(- probably less protective than the Namba bag but it's ok to bring the KPA (anyway, there is some space in the bag to put some protection around the kpa if you want)
- the belt is not very pleasant on the shoulder when you bring the bag during a long time

Thanks for the info Guys i will order one now. The namba one is way too pricey for what it is but The Gator looks ideal

Do folks who have now been using the Gator Bass Drum bag have any feedback? How is it working out?

I too am interested in feedback on this. The Dolica bag I got for one of my KPA's is no longer available, and I'm looking for a bag for the second one.
Any of you from Tampa? PM me.
