Problem with importing rigs from backup?

So... I did a "clean sweep" of my Kemper. It's nice. I left some key rigs I edited and I've been slowly "restoring" from a restore file that I've been gradually filling up, all the time weeding out ones I don't think I'll ever use (but keeping them on a backup).

It's been working fine... but it's a bit tedious. The whole backup/restore seems a bit much. I'm wondering if there might be a better way. Would there be any harm in just taking the rigs that are in that backup/rigs folder and just importing them as I feel the need? I snuck in a rig via the backup method that wasn't on their to begin with and it worked fine.

Thanks.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if the Rig files were also dependent on other files placed in different places during the import process, but I guess that doesn't even make sense.
