VOLBEAT

Morning

Would one of you nice people like to profile or tone match some good old Volbeat tones...

"sad man's tongue" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mV_HHL-h6g tones are great... I know I could probably just find something myself similar but considering some people here love to tone match I thought I would add something from my wish list..

"I only wanna be with you" is also a great tone...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ts19Nn-xyGs

cheers and have a nice weekend 8)

If you provide the isolated guitar track this should be easy...

I don't know how to do that, so I'll figure out which profile is closest...

Google is your friend:

Marshall JVM (Dave Mustaine Sig)

through - wait for it - a mix of four speaker sims:

H&K Redbox
Behringer Ultra G
Palmer Junction
Radial JDX

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTJh31QMk…be_gdata_player

Redbox & Palmer Speakersims already are in the Rig Exchange (also your friend) and so are plenty of JVM profiles.

Happy hunting!

OK I've watched this many times, but didn't see the palmer in there.. so the mics go straight to the di boxes for live.. I had a palmer once, PDI03 didn't like it so much, It was kind of dry sounding... but I know people use them with good results, the Black keys use them live also.. but for recording, I'm sure they don't use a palmer at all... :)
