Shooutout: Celestion G12T-75 vs Celestion V30 vs Celestion G12H30

I made a shootout of three speakers, using my own made cab and reamping a little piece of music.

I tried to mic them so they sound 'fairly' the same, not too dark or bright compared to each other.

I just got myself an EVH head, fuck... It's incredible!

I've chosen to reamp rhythm tracks, lead melody's and some clean stuff
at the end to give a better idea of how those speakers sound in
different situations (from clean to high gain)

Which speaker do you like the most?
By the way if there are enough people interested I can create a profile with that cabinet (with the G12H speaker).

It all depends on the context, in this case i would go for the G12T75. A mix of 70% G12T75 and 30% G12H30 would sound cool too.

Did you check my cab profiles? I made a bunch of profiles for a speaker and also some nice combinations.

I would like to hear more of those EVH rigs. If i would still be into buying amps, this would be the one to go for me.

I thought the same as Tyler; the V30 was a touch grainy sounding for me. Wonderful piece of music, wonderful shootout, and a nice looking handmade 1x12 cab, btw!

Yes, I've heard some good things about their cabinets too.
Sad enough I didn't play one yet.
