Expression pedals without UNO

Hey,

I got the fcb1010 today.

I though i'll try it out a little before ordering the UNO chip, no problems with changing presets,

but couldn't get the expression pedals working..

Can I get them to work without the UNO chip or am I wasting my time?

The FCB1010 allows you to change what the expression pedals send per preset.
Could be that the presets you were using had the expression pedals turned off.

If you have a Windows PC you can use this utility to program the stock FCB1010: http://host.mtnsys.com:81/faq-fcb/PCEditorBeta.htm

Hi Menner,
so did you get the pedals to work without the chip?
I only need the preset changing and the pedals. If it works i don“t need the chip...

Module is empty

I recently bought a Kemper Profiling Amp,firmware 1.1.1 and
as a footcontroller the FCB1010 with UNO 1.03. I downloaded a sysex file at
http://kemper-amps.com/forum/index.php?page=Thread&postID=35136#post35136.
After I downloaded this sysex file to the FCB1010 succesfully with Ripwerx, the
only message I get from the Kemper Profiling Amp is : "Module is empty.
Please select a type or preset"' What did I do wrong ?

Does anyone have a solution ?

Thx

Mike

Have you assigned any rigs to Program Change Numbers yet? (Find this in the system menu).

Hey all. It appears the UNO chip is not necessary for stompbox operation. You can program the unit so the bottom row sends PC (program change) and the top CC (controller). There's a generic sysex file on the FCB1010 user group to get started. The catch is the unit must have a more recent firmware, 2.3 or greater I think.
