The 1st defective KPA :(

Hi,

I've got my KPA yesterday and the GAIN button has a strange behaviour. I let you a video : http://photos13.free.fr/KPA/

When I turn the button to the right to raise the gain, you can see that it starts to raise but suddenly, even if I continue to turn the button to the right, the gain goes down.

I asked a RMA to Thomann.

No luck, I started to play with a little bit and it's a real pleasure.

No, I just wait for the answer of Thomann. I asked the RMA in the afternoon, I think they'll give me an answer tomorrow but there's no reason that they refuse.

That is bad luck, fortunately they should have enough in stock to substitute it quickly

does this happen all the time on every profile? mine has stopped playing a couple of times. I can browse the menues and change rigs and everything but it's completely silent and it says "dsp error" on the screen. have to reboot then everyting is fine again. so far it hasn't occured while just playing, only while I'm changing things around. 3 times since yesterday.

??? Try clearing the rig cache, keep the rig button down while booting (only 'till it starts booting)...

could it be something with those specific profiles? maybe some of the older ones? anyway, let us know when you hear from Thomann.

I said a dozen cause when I discovered the gain button behaviour on a profile, I just tried with the profiles before and next to this profile. I'm pretty sure it does this on all profiles. I shut down the KPA and put it in his box due to my disappointment.

I will let you know the rest of the story.
