Polytone MiniBrute IV Rig

Here's my first attempt at profiling. It seems to have come out pretty well. I used two mics - a Shure SM57 and a Shure SM86, run through a Mackie 1202VLZ Pro mixer. I left it dry without any effects or other noodling. It's exactly the way the KPA created it. I find adding a bit of reverb and delay enhances it. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!

The bottom link is the original dry one. I'm adding this additional rig where some effects have been added:

Thanks man! I've been waiting long time for this or an Henriksen.

My pleasure. That old Polytone has a wonderful sound, and the KPA really seemed to nail it.

Hi,

Thanks for this profile. Gives me an excuse to dust off my old flatwound stringed jazz box.

Cheers,

Thanks Mats. I used to think the Polytone was strictly for jazz - but since owning one, I found I love it for any mix where a nice clean guitar is required.
