Cannonball Shuffle

As I am having a lot of fun with Davec69's KBP D-Style rigs I thought I'd record some noodling over a backing track of Robben Ford's 'Cannonball Shuffle'. Hope you like it!

Wow, Markus, superb playing and what a great tone!

Are my ears deceiving me, isn't this pretty close to the "Robin Ford Politician" tone, the one everyone is searching for and spending tens of thousands of Dollars on boutique 'Dumble' copies for? :)

Please share these rigs, you seem to have tweaked them spot on.

Guys, thank you so much for your kind words!!

@Guitartone: I think it's definitely close. It's at least the closest that I was ever able to get to it with any of the 'tools' I owne(d). Played this with my ES type guitar (Ibanez AS103 NT) which seems to suit this rig very well.
Shure I will gladly share the rig here. WIll do it tonight after work. But to be honest not much tweaking was necessary. Some slight EQ changes (IIRC), some typical short Robben Delay, a pure boost for Soloing and that's it.

Thanks!
Markus

Great stuff Markus! I like your Ford vibe. Need to try those profiles as well...

Thanks a lot!!!

Ok here's the rig: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/41357709/My%20Ro…2016-40-42.kipr
It's based on the "KBP ODS '183' CH2" from Davec69. As you can see I just did very minor adjustments to it. So all the credits go to Davec69 for this great profile!!

Cheers,
Markus
