Analog hardware pedals in front or in loop?

Hi,

I trying to figure out how to best incorporate my analog pedals in my Kemper world.
Do you guys use your analog pedals in front of the KPA (before input) or in the loop?
Have you found any difference in dynamics or in any other way?

So far I have only tried them in front with varying results.

Cheers,

Mats N

Depends on the pedal.

Treat the kemper how you would an amp.

Hi,

That's what I did until I realized that I can't treat the KPA as ONE amp as it not only sounds but to some extent also behaves like many amps and amps takes pedals differently and some pedals don't like some amps.

I tested my crybaby wah before input and in the loop?.

For me, input sounds much better, It`s more like in a real amp. It looks as if the loop is a little more digital, sharper and less dynamics.
