Main Out versus Monitor Out

Just played my first two gigs with the KPA. I'm in love!!! This has probably been discussed before, but I can't find it through search. I'm using a Velocity 300 as a power amp into 2 speakers cabs. For the gigs I play there's no reason to go to FOH. So I use the Main Outs into the power amp. Would the sound be different at all if I used the Monitor outs?

Thanks,
Bob

I run a similar setup with the ADA Microtube 200 into a stereo 2x12 cab. The only drawback that I see is that the Kemper only has the one monitor out (unless it's TSR stereo), so you can only do stereo using the Main outs.

You guys run stereo monitoring on stage? Really? I was never able to do that with satisfaction unless using In-Ear or being ready to damage my ears....

Using the monitor out sounds different from the using only one main out. Does one main out (left or right) deliver the combined stereo signal or just one side?
