Midi control of EQ section...

I've been playing around with the EQ section and noticed that a lot of the profiles sound great without the EQ turned on. This gives you the true sound of the profile (I think?) but when it's turned on with a little boost to the mids it's a great boost in volume as well. This got me thinking, it would be great to have midi control of the EQ section. So I'm requesting to add a midi CC# to the EQ section. This will in effect give you an extra boost for solos without having to sacrifice one of the stomp FX slots, it also has very low noise.

Has anyone played around with this? I think it would be a great way to get a boost without using one of the FX slots. Not to mention your boosted tone could be the perfectly EQ to your liking!

Nice suggestion :)

As for what can be done now, w/o sacrificing a slot,

"[...] a simple solution is to make a copy of a preset, add gain and volume to the second
preset and then simply switch between presets.

You could also use the Expression 2 jack on the back of the KPA for that kind of master volume or solo boost. Then you have the box X slot free for other things." [quoted from the wikpa]

I'm wanting to get the EQ section midi controllable for a boost without changing presets for instant latency and noise free changes. I'm already using all the Expression jacks on my KPA. I think most of the KPA's important functions should be midi controllable. :)

Agreed! ^^

... Do you have delay and noises when switching between presets?
