And Tony Levin himself. He plays two (black and white) by one stick base.
He actually showed it to Jakko.

If we could just get Fripp to use one, we could call them King Kemper! I love their new lineup, and hoping to catch them on the upcoming American tour.

As of now the Kemper is a hit. The list just keeps growing.
... What has become of the OP?
... Overwhelmed?
I just saw Shania Twain Wednesday night. I had read her guitarists (well, at least one of them, Cory Churko.) used the KPA. I saw 3 of them in a rack before the show started. They are about 6 feet to the right of the lighted stair way near the bottom right of the video (in full screen mode). You can see them about the last 8 seconds of the video. They sounded good, of course. I can't imagine he would have all 3.
The opening act (Gavin Degraw) had a guitarist with a Marshall 1/2 stack on stage and it didn't sound as good as the KPA. (it was actually kinda honky sounding).
I'm tempted to use the Kemper at the board! I have worked with a number of guitarist that swear by their amps so much that I can't help the way they sound, remember that DI box I inserted your guitar into before your amp and pedal section cuz I told you I needed a clean signal to the board? Well won't they be surprised when their stage sound is quite a bit different from the mains sound? Kemper FI mufu! Now you sound good! If it works as suspected I may need to by a second Kemper for my rack!
Exactly.
Be sure to give 'em a FOH copy of the gig to erase any doubts. It'd be fun to not even tell 'em what you've done 'till he / she asks, "Hey, how come my rig sounds so tight, a little different from how I expected but sooo cool?"...
Yeah! My exact thoughts! I suppose it could be perceived as insulting, but I'd rather I insulted them than them insulting me!
From Guitar World's interview of Annie Clark (St. Vincent):
QuoteI’m using a Kemper modeling amplifier for live work. Originally I was bringing out vintage ’66 Kalamazoo kind of small amps—the kind of little guy that you could ram a lot of signal through and get a nice breakup and saturation and all of that. But I just stopped.
Those weirdo custom and vintage amps need a lot of attention on the road, and I didn’t want to make my guitar tech’s life a living hell. So I decided to go with straight-up Kemper. Which really works well, because my entire show is programmed, in terms of effects. I program my pedal board, and my keyboard player uses Ableton to send cues to switch programs, so I don’t have to look down at my pedal board. So both [co-guitarist/keyboardist] Toko [Yasuda] and I use Kemper modeling amplifiers, because they’re consistent.
How did you discover the Kempers?
I got turned on to them by my guitar tech, who was on the Nine Inch Nails tour, and that’s what they were using. So I gave them a shot and really liked them. I don’t know if they’d be my go-to amp in the studio, but they’re definitely my go-to live. Hey, if they’re good enough for Trent…

You could tell 'em you wanted to make sure there were no phase issues or feedback from the amp mics finding their way into the mix. This, after all, would be true.
Frank Turner has a KPA on his stage. Not for his acoustic guitars (so far...) but when it comes time to rock, he plugs his Les Paul semi-hollow to the Kemper, direct to the PA.
He uses a rig called "blues.jnr.growl", based on the small Fender Tube combo.
Don Broco use them live (who are they I hear you say)

Funny that you say that, last time I saw DeGraw his guitarist was using a matchless and when he played his 335 it was the best tone I've ever heard!
