I recently did a backup of my KPA but I was wondering if the backup also contains all the rigs I had on my kemper while creating the backup file?

Yes, the backup has all the rigs and other stored settings.

That's what a backup is for. How come you ask yourself that question?

Backups do include Rigs in Browse pool, Performances incl. Rigs, Local Presets, MIDI program change assignments of Browse mode, and global settings.

Just to be complete and to address any paranoiac concerns, the backup contains also "saved" amps & cabs, right?
This means, a new and fresh bought KPA with this backup put on is an exact replica of the origin KPA. -
