I always save the original rigs on my harddrive and then load'em into the kemper, tweak and rename. If I want to start over from the original rig again its hard to remember where it came from.

You need to go into the amp tag (Amplifier > Show Tag). There you'll see and/or can fill in info on pickup type, source amp, amp channel, artist, comments etc etc.
Else, you will have to name rigs in a way that will reveal the original name.

yes I know , but I'd rather have the full rigname copied into the tag. or a copy/paste option..so I can view the full rigname on the same "page" as source amp, amp channel etc, etc

Yeah, being able to copy the name tag to the comment field, or dedicated "original name" field, wouldn't be a bad idea!
