Can you so the update without installing the new rig packs?
Update alone does not load the rigs, you need to go in system menu and load the factory content if you want to.
2.2 is here!!

I've read all these pages
i've the chance to be in 2.0 and i keep it ....
i needs to use My kemper without have problem or to do adaption at each time
i'll update it when all is in order to normally works or sold it ....

The release is absolutely stable, the 2.2 is a public beta and if you install it is your choice, knowing that it could still have some issue. Do not install a Beta if you do not have the time to revert to Release and/or restore a backup if something goes wrong.
