DI profiles

    I like working with di profiles and a combination of different irs i think this is the one of the best way to capture the sound of an amp. Best served with the power section included. Are you the same

    When i was working with a real preamp and IRs, I always got the best results by having a kinda of emulation of the power amp section (i was using an ADA ampulator too, which is really a great box).
    Preamp plus cab with flat power amp doesn't give the right flavour imho.
    If you want to make some cab profiles, i can suggest you to use revalver by Peavey. I has a nice power amp emulation and a great IR loader, so you might think about profiling the power amp/cab section in order to mach your tastes.

    I also find it important that the sound FOH is very good for the audience, for me it has at least towards the stage sound absolute priority. DI sounds are standard for decades (eg, Hughes and Kettner Redbox etc.) in live performance and proven. Therefore, I use this like and also have many special DI profiles.
