noticing a definite problem when browsing around rigs, scroll onto one and its sound is very muffled, scroll off it and back on and its back to its full range, very strange, anyone else?

yepp, noticed that a few times...like it had another cab loaded or something
-
Yes,
I installed the 2.3.0 beta software, I made two identical
rigs but with different names, and I noticed that every time I change
between these two rigs sound is different and sometimes disappears
completely, I reinstalled version 2.2.1 and the problem is solved. I
made a video this is the link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WanzB4ru-Yw&feature=youtu.be
Has anyone noticed the same problem?

and while on it, lost all my favourites again when upgrading to 2.3, really frustrating
i know i should remember to backup before upgrading, but last did it 2 weeks ago

Yes, this is already reported.

The same problem here. Went back to v2.2.1. Sound quality or Rig Manager - that was the question. Hope it will be fixed soon.

I've had an issue where some stomps/FX don't seem to fully disengage when switched off, perhaps this is linked, maybe some dirty bit not being set somewhere.
-
I haven't noticed any muffled sound, but I noticed that the volume on some of my rigs were drastically different. Using the Rig manager to quickly scroll through rigs, just made this more apparent.
After a little searching, I found that the master volume setting was fine, but the saved volume pedal settings on some rigs were really low. Not sure if it's relevant, but FYI.

I had (what was to me unexpected) muffled sound on all my profiles. I did a system reset, with little success.
Then, I noticed that the Noise Gate was turned way up. I lowered it, and everything sounded much better.

The problem that some of us are experiencing is a kind of inconsistency. The sound of a profile changes upon recall. Like a different cab, or something. Lets hope for a fix soon.

Did you see my post... lost all mine and got them back...

Just to confirm I was looking for an answer or some information regarding this and confirm since upgrading to 2.3 Beta I have had this issue where switching between rigs sometimes the sounds is "muffled" as if the treble or presence has been rolled back quite a bit.
I will roll back to 2.1 for now thanks everyone.

We are currently testing a firmware, which is hopefully fixing these accidental sound changes. Stay tuned.

Yes, 2.3 should not be trusted. Rigs sounds different just by loading them again. I can not find a visible parameter changing, and I'm quite sure I checked them all
Was looking forward to searching the Rig Exchange for keepers today, but it seems I have to wait some more. I advice others to do the same unless they want unexpected surprises down the road!

2.3.1 solves the problem for me.

Have to say that updating this quickly in response to a community forum is stunning response from this company. Well done!

Extremely fast response and solving the problem... other companies often need a lot of time to fix bugs....

I can confirm, that FW 2.3.1B solves this problem. Thank you Kemper!
