Does that not infer that we, at some point, will be able to keep all rigs on a USB key and switch between an unlimited amount stored on the USB drive? I haven't noticed a higher latency via the USB key, and since the KPA reflects the currently-auditioning rig, it seems as though it does not matter whether the rigs are in fact stored in the internal KPA memory or on an external device. Any chance we can get an official word on whether this is in fact the case? I would love to be able to just keep all 2000+rigs on my USB stick plugged into the KPA for memory expansion.
So since the Rig Manager lets us audition every profile in real time....

This feature is highly requested so I can see it happening soon.

Yeah I think it is not unrealistic.
The only thing the profiler needs to do is load a profile into its buffer (this is what happens when you audition rigs via RM). -
My KPA is in for repair, what do you mean by auditioning? You can play the profiles before loading them onto the Kemper? If yes, how does it work?
-
The profiler loads a rig from RM into its buffer without actually storing it.

I´d love to see that. Having my complete collection of rigs always with me would be pretty cool!

Kemper II should have swappable memory (i.e. mini-SD) to do this with.
This way you don't risk breaking the USB stick while still in port.
But by the time we have KPA II, might as well do it via bluetooth!

Bluetooth Fcb1010 would be awesome aswell to go with it haha!

Are there plans for a Kemper 2? I just got my Kemper 1!

no official plans for a Kemper II , don't worry and enjoy your profiler ...
