Matrix Amp with 2 x 12 Marshall Cab !

    after much testing and deliberating.


    I think I am going with a Matrix Amp and a Marshall Cab 2 x 12.


    I did a blind test with Kemper and Marshall JVm410H, using every thing i could get my hands on, Marshall JVM401H as the power amp, PA - Power amp, FRFR Active.
    My FRFR speaker sounded fake, I know it wasn't a DRX-10, but i like the look of a 2 x 12 Cab on stage.
    Tried them all and Power amp and Kemper with 2 x 12 cab sounded exactly the same as the Marshall, used the Jvh410JS rig from RM.


    Was going to get the Camplifier 180, but can't run at 4 ohms and only give you 90watts at 16 ohms.


    My cab is currently running at 16 ohms, but I could easily wire it to run at 4ohms.


    So the Matrix GT800FX -
    Watts per channel 4 ohm:
    400 RMS



    Watts per channel 8 ohm:
    250 RMS



    Watts per channel 16 ohms:
    120 RMS



    Bridged mode 8 ohm:
    800w RMS



    Bridged mode 16 ohm:
    520w RMS








    Anybody here using the Matrix Amp??
