Please!
How much longer will this go on.
Release it already.
Please.
To expect them for free in my opinion would be an insult to Mr. Wagoner's time , talent, experience, expertise and the obvious quality that will be had at our finger tips once the rig pack is completed. Again, just my opinion but I'm sure there will be a good handful of folks who cheaply commoditize everything else in their lives that will do the same with this offering. : )) lol

Sounds good - I take the cat ....
"choices were made - rock n' roll won :D"
hey guys,
next up is the Egnater Armageddon, channel 3 through a Wizard 4x12 25W Greenbacks cabinet with a R-121 and a GT Convertible mic.
This time, I'd like to re-amp a DI or DIs from the community.
The Gain of this profile is at 5.9, it will be best to make the DI with a similarly 'hot' profile.
The guitar that was used to set the amp is a Epiphone Les Paul with the bridge humbucker (EVH pickup, a hot HB)
upload your DI and post a dl link in this thread.
3 - 2 - 1 - go!

LOL....Yes I do realize that. Thank you for helping me out. : )) My point was made to reflect how folks should hopefully react if they weren't made available as a free factory rig pack/update. That's all.... I wouldnt be surprised if some of them were made available for free via a kemper update or free rig pack and the balance of what could be had needing to be purchased.

I have a few DI's from tracking the EP, but may I suggest using this?

It's a very widely used DI for high gain amp demos.

these DI are like Ola Englund - always sounds great
No matter what amps were used
Stay Metal!

I completely agree. It is very much a standard to use that DI as a way to compare tones. I always reach for it.
ok,
I was hoping for a little more original content - this DI is used extremely often, but I can see the value in that as well.
the profile isn't really what I would call hi gain, but it works nonetheless
maybe I'll also do a version with a GS in front.
will post the first reamp tomorrow.
C'mon guys, the Don has been stuck in that terrible place of amps and cabinets and guitars... He needs to hear from the outside world!
High gain, metal amps like the Armageddon on 5.9 sounds tasteful, and that has been quite lacking in many metal profiles.
Very curious for this!
The excitement is just killing me. You guys are aware of the new Revolverhead profiles that were released just now? We didn't hear anything about them, but they're out now.
Thanks, Don, for involving us with this every step of the way. Really exciting to think that someone like Michael Wagener would provide content for our magic boxes, free or not. For the guys like me that don't have money to splurge after the Kemper, it's positively heart-warming that anyone would do this in this day and age.
I mean, I read in the manual that Kemper Amplifiers would continue to provide new profiles. And guess what, it was a major consideration in my purchase. And surprise, surprise, since my purchase in October, I have seen a 100+ profiles released by the company -- Ola Englund, Keith Merrow, Lasse Lammert, the Vintage Profiles, DI Profiles -- plus loads by the good folks like r.u.sirius and djemass. Even commercial profilers like SinMix have shared free profiles with us recently.
I didn't understand the debate about why these shouldn't be free. What's in a tone? Do you think people like Bulb and Nolly on the Axe FX forums are so concerned that people will steal their signature sound just because they posted their Axe FX patches online for free?
This is the kind of thing that keeps me to my resolve not to look for stolen or pirated profiles *EVER*. Absolutely positive that Mr Wagener thinks so little of it because there's more to making a good record than a good tone. I mean, plenty of people have the actual amps that we play profiles of. Seriously doubt he'll run out of business because a few bedroom guitarists and even some professionals get their hands on some tones he put out.
I am 100% sure, that there isn't possible to steal a tone of guitarist. Believe it or not, all the magic is in the fingers.

Why aren't you on the fingers forum, then?

Steven Slate will release a finger/talent pluginemulation soon
I'm waiting for something that will emulate Jon Schaffer's picking hand for me.
