Yes! -
It´s so fantastic to see that they actually care and not just let it be an official release until they fixed it. I don´t think it´s possible to love Kemper more than I already do

CORRECTION: 2.4.0 still Public Beta
we have decided to downgrade 2.4.0 back to Public Beta status, because of an important fix, which will take effect in our next firmware.I know that they are working on the FW2.4.1 which will be released soon and that will fix the Bass Bug.
Cheers

Thanks for the update!

How do you go backwards in OS from 2.4 to 2.3?
I put the 2.3 kaos.bin on my USB, but the KPA doesn't ask if I want to update. I assume because it is a lower version than what I have installed.
-
Have you put it in the OS Update folder?

Here is a comparison of 2.4 vs 2.3 vs 2.2.

Let me know what you hear.

Yes
Hmmm, moved it out of os update folder to the root level and it worked... weird.
-
Does appear to be excessive bass response in 2.40 vis-a-vis 2.3, but one thing to remember is that if you downgrade, you won't be able to use the rig exchange, which I just realised.
Also, did you guys notice that the Rig Librarian is now in Release Version 1.0? Looks like they've got it stable hurrah!
-
What is your take on 2.2 vs 2.4?

Order is 2.4, 2.3, 2.2

WTF... So there's a confirmed bug in 2.4 (Quite an important one), but Rig Manager is forcing me to upgrade to 2.4 or I cannot use RM?
-
Guys WTF???? I cannot use RM unless I install a BETA version of the firmware????
Great... I read the other thread but I don't have the installation of the old RM... Does someone maybe have the installation of the older RM?
-
The older RM probably won't work - they have a time limit on them, for some reason.

Check out the post before mine....

Yup Rig Manager is down for me too until the fix 2.4. I'm using 2.3 and love it.

It's Growing Pains. Be Patient.
There are stable releases to stick to if rolling with changes is a pain.
My DAW, Reaper has updates every week. I don't upgrade update's until I'm between projects.
Look at the KPA the same way. Especially Beta releases, but also 1.00 releases. Too early to be bug free.
Many here claim to be Mac users. Macs are considered to be the best in the industry by many.
How many initial releases are bug free? None. It's almost always easier to upgrade after the initial few bug upgrades, am I right?
Same with Microsoft. So don't be hasty with the KPA upgrades if stability is what you need.
If you DO upgrade all the time, thank you for being a part of the users who report bugs and help the rest of us who just enjoy it!

totally agree @db.. great advice!
