Is the number of stored profiles and configured performances the same on both boxes?
I would expect identical performance given the same firmware and dataset as the hardware, except from the physical button layout, is identical. Performance should be the same on both units if you back-up, then wipe, and restore the same backup on both boxes.
What I'm missing is some form of background smart-cache as the first switch between slots in a performance or between rigs organised in the same MIDI-bank in browse-mode takes far too long.
I have the PowerRack and it takes max. 2 seconds to switch when turning the chicken head knob. Sounds very strange!

No lag on my rack.
Wh000t. I think I don't have any (noticeable) lag at all on my powered toaster and non-powered rack as well. How many rigs are on your device. I have ~15 on them.
Checked my rack today and its same speed as my toaster ,almost instant,didnt have a stopwatch
Support got back to me today and said a lag between 1.5 and 3 seconds is normal dependant on what's going on under the hood. My toaster and rack both have the same firmware, the same rigs on etc I just thought it was strange one was faster than the other
