When I posted my LA 80s rack clean sound with my Trichorus emulation I was asked to come up with a Lukather style lead. I wanted to do that anyway and you can download it from the Gear section on my web page.
In case you want to hear the rig in action, here's a tune I just finished recording. All the melody and lead was recorded using the same profile so all the changes in the sound was made selecting different pickups and working the guitar volume control.
Had a lot fun playing and recording this. Hope that came through.
