Try EVH3C1V$G$ and adjust the delay to suit. Pending your guitar pickups turn on the dist.

He uses pretty much the same gear as everyone else, he just happens to use it REALLY well
Are you looking for the sound from a specific song?
-
It also depends as Paul noted which EJ sound/song you are after.

In the EVH profile noted I have a green scream in the stomp box slot using a "Kempercell" style battery.

Thx for sharing these. Was looking for a similar tone.

Try one of these profiles. The profiles of this monster amp are great. Use eq to shape your tone, lots of delay and youre there. I use a strat with the bridge pickup. I have a Dimarzio Virtual Solo which is great. It is not a single coil but a stacked pickup. It does sound straty, though. No hum at all with that one.
Have amps, will profile the BE100: Lets make some profiles...

Which EJ sound are you after?
EJ is using 2 different signal chans for his clean and distorted sound. The solo/distorted sound he is most known for is wah->echoplex->tubedriver going into a Marshall JTM or Plexi/Superlead. Here are more details
His rhythm is various chains of pedals into a pair of Twins.
Either of these signal-chains can be reproduced quite accurately with the KPA.
