Anyone know if leaving a usb stick always attached to the kpa causes any problems? i.e. slowing down operation maybe as the stick gets scanned during running or boot up. There's some small usb sticks out there with low profiles so lessen the risk of physical damage but I wonder if it's good practice to remove when not required?
USB stick permanently connected-good or bad?

I doubt that there is any problem created by leaving it in. However, I would remove it, as I once forgot it was there and packed up the unit for a gig, which resulted in damage to the USB device...

I usually leave mine set in place and have noticed no adverse effects.

I always keep mine on. I use some of those micro sticks, I think the probability of having it damaged is very low. It rather seems to protect the port LOL

I keep my USB in when the profiler is at home.
I remove it when going to gigs or rehearsals.
