I really like it for the price of 299$. I have one on order! Here is the way I see it with this. There are times that I don't desire to use the Kemper (gasp!) in certain situations. I also have a new and very rare Mesa recto-verb 25 rack mount amp. One always needs a backup. I can simply take that with me and run it FOH if I want some tube goodness! It gives me another variety for recording by running it into my DAW using its cab simulations or out of the 1/4" jack of the unit into the DAW and I can use my Two Notes WOS III plugins. Works a few purposes for me.

Surprised this hasn't got more hype, it seems like a very attractive proposition for consistent, good sounding profiles (assuming it does indeed sound good).
-
It´s not comparable to device that use IRs for the speaker simulation like the torpedo. It doesn´t sound bad but also not great. It´s ok for jamming at home but for recording i wouldn´t use it.

Agreed. I tried it yesterday at Mesa Hollywood and it was average. Does not touch the Kemper. I was going to buy one to experiment with profiling. After hearing it I am not sure it would be beneficial. It sounds just like the YouTube videos.

Of course not as great as a Kemper, but you pair it up with the Two-Notes WOSIII cabs and it will sound great. I'm using more as an alternative to the Kemper or when I want to use my Tube amp live without a cab. It actually sounds very good through a set of stage monitors. I got a chance to test one the other day that the rep had with him.

Looks like a really cool product to me.
I think it will be most powerful in a studio environment. It would allow one to use a tube amp with nearly any IR on the market (through a DAW).
I doubt that I'll get one but I'd love to try it with my tube amps and some good IRs and compare it to the Kemper. Actually, if I ever get something similar to this I'll probably pick up the Torpedo Reload since it also features attenuation (but a lot more money, of course).

Hello
Wondering if anyone has made profiles with Mesa Boogie CabClone? The signal chain I am thinking is: AMP -> CabClone -> Kemper. If so, please let me know.
Why?
To create another profile with no microphone. -
Someone tried this Mesa clone with profiling yet? Im interested if it can be used for Direct Amp Profiles.
Would be great to hear, does it Have a seperate output without Cab sim? -
It's actually really disappointing
