KPA freeze with FCB1010

    Chain: FCB1010 and MIDIsport from laptop into midi merger, into KPA. KPA midi out into FCB1010, performance mode.


    FW: Kpa on 2.5, FCB1010 on U4K1.1.


    Last night i had an odd problem, when trying to switch rigs with the FCB, the kpa screen would sort of "freeze" on the performance i'd switched too, most of the screen would be sort of greyed out. After 5-6 seconds it would just go back to the performance it was on. The laptop switching was fine. I rebooted the KPA and all was well again for the rest of practise?


    Any ideas? Update the U4K chip maybe?


    Sigh i wish they'd just release a KFC.


    I think we can exclude update of the eprom. Other than that, I don't know.
    The midi merger is suspicious though....

    I had the same problem if i switch on the fcb before the kpa.
    Try to switch on the kpa first and wait a moment before you switch on the fcb.
    I use the eureka prom. Give it a try.
