Looking for a metal axe - Budget up to 500 Euro / 600 $

Hey guys,

do you have any recommendations for me? I want one guitar just for heavy rhythm sounds a la Slipknot, so I dont care how it sounds clean or in crunch mode. I already bought a couple of weeks ago a Seymour Duncan SH-6 bridge pickup which I'd like to include in the new guitar. I'll also go to a local guitar shop to test a few guitars but maybe you have some favorites in that price range and could leave your suggestions here.

I was also thinking about the Squier Jim Root Tele and replace the pickup with the SH-6. Anyone has tried the squier version. Is it any good?

BTW it's not that important but if it's possible I'd like to have a model that does NOT look like a metal guitar like the BC Rich or Jackson guitars - really dont like the look, but in the end it really depends on the sound

I cant help myself but I kind of fell in love with the jim root signature tele. would love to buy the fender version but I'm afraid that's out of my price range. Anyone had the chance to compare the fender one to the squier verrsion? Unfortunately there's no local shop here that has the guitar.
