Will do! I'm going to order one today. I figure this small head with a Bogner Cube is a nice simple little tube rig as a backup to the Kemper and for just some different tones.
Looking forward to it!

I think with all the wattage options the Mark V already has, this is a solution to a non-existing problem. Could be cool for some people, but I mainly see it as a gimmick, to be honest. A full size Mark V isn't that much more trouble to haul around and its resale value will probably be way higher, as there are a lot more people that would want one.

I think this amp will be overpriced in Europe as usual !!
Mini Rectifier : Streetwater USD999 (768€), and Thomann is 1348€
Mark V 25 : USD1300 > what will be the price at Thomann, at least 2000€ !!! (?)When I see a MarkIIC+ in France at 1400€...

Now I have serious GAS, thanks very much.
Looks like just about the perfect amp to me. I've never found any practical use for 100W of tube power amp, but I love everything else about the Boogie Mk line. Used to own a MkIIc+ and selling it was among the dumbest things I've ever done. Tried to make amends with a MkIV but it didn't really gel. Maybe this will be the ticket.
Lighter weight and smaller form factor have become important to me over the years. I would love to see Mesa follow up with a reasonably light 1x12 (or even 1x10) combo version of the MkV 25. (Note: that name is going to be very confusing vs. the Express 5:25.)

Gimmick? Nah.....that is a stretch. I like the fact that I don't have to have a 100W amp, nor a need for one. I like the reduced size yet lots of functionality in it. Works for me!

yes.....but you folks pay far less than us on the other side of the world for a Diezel VH-4. Over here? $4300! Yikes!

Hey bro life is unfair... I prefer Mesa over Diezel and perhaps you the opposite , lol

Great idea, no gimmick for me, my MKIV might be small but weighs a tonne. Im not sure i need it but i still want one. If i go to the states ill prob pick one up though rather than use the KPA

OT: years ago, when I still worked in gyms, I had to take a 2-hour bus ride to reach the place, which was in a suburb called Torre Angela.
At the same time, there was a gym in front of my apartment. I once happened to know its personal trainer. He lived in Torre Angela...

LOL!!!! I have had 3 Diezel's and a pile of Mesa's! However, if you put a Bogner XTC in front of me, well.....that would be a done deal!

yeah, i used to think like this then I bought a Kemper... ;-p

A IIC+ is another beast, though.
Used prices on Mesa are starting to be do-able around here also.On the whole gimmick thing: might be a tad strong expressed, but I don't lift the main weight of my gear when I go out to play anyway. The furthest I move something is from the car onto a cart or from the cart onto the stage. 100W is just nice to have when you have no PA for the amplifier and need headroom and the MKV has a lot of switching options should you want breakup at (slightly) lower volumes.

Prices in Europe are €1999, but you find them at about €1760 in different stores

I'd like to have a Combo Version....

Very cool! Great little amp! I didn't end up getting one. I don't have a need for it at this point but if the need comes about, it would be one that I would very much consider. I tried one at the local shop and was really impressed with it. Great compact size and really easy to dial in a great tone with plenty of options.

I'd like to have a Combo Version....
Me too. I'm gearing up for a new project right now - sold a guitar to fund a new amp - and if there was a 1x12 MkV 25 combo I'd order it today.
But there isn't... so instead I'll be experimenting with a speaker replacement in my Express 5:25 1x10. (Off topic but) leaning toward a Celestion G10 Gold Alnico but I hear good things about the Tone Tubby 40/40. I have a feeling a Fane might be cool too, but probably more of a 1 trick pony (i.e. good for gain, too dark for cleans.) The stock Eminence is just too notchy, blatty, directional... I know it's like bringing a knife to a gunfight, but does anyone have any advice on a killer speaker for a 1x10 cabinet?

I was able to play that amp two days ago. For me it's a great amp. A small combo version would be very interesting, My guess would that a combo version will be coming next year!
