Bought the Colonial and AC30 packs this afternoon, then went to practice.
Played the Colonial all night. Amazing.
Thanks for the discount Michael!

Glad you liked the Colonial, Dave.
I've banged on about it several times in the forum and absolutely love it.

Yes, and thanks for turning me onto it! Much appreciated mate!
-
Geez, I'd forgotten about that, Dave! My pleasure, mate.
Hopefully you appreciated the same qualities I do - it's organic-and-woody sounding, and epitomises the classic, "classy" cock-rock tone IMHO.

Im loving the colonial 3 8 for rhythm tone.
Which colonial profiles are your go to ones?

The Colonial is my favorite single pack by him. Talk about a versatile beast of an amp! I honestly think it can out Dumble all of the amps in his D-Pack!
My all around favorite is 2 7.

Thanks for the discount Michael ! I finally bought the BoC pack. Should have done that a long time ago There are a lot of great profiles I like in this pack: Bogner Goldfinger, Soldano, Matchless, TKO all sound very very good!
-
Well, can't turn down a discount! I bought the Colonial pack too, I'm eager to play it, whenever I find the time. There is always less time than inspiration.

Which colonial profiles are your go to ones? It's been a while since I as able to Kemperfy myself, but IIRC I loved many, if not all the mid-to-high-gain tones. Not sure if I even auditioned the clean ones 'cause I was so besotted with the gainy ones.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. The way I banged on about the Profiles (quite a few times in different threads over a couple o' years), I was starting to think there was something wrong with my taste 'cause I wasn't hearing much from anyone else about it.
Back then, and still now, it's probably my favourite pack from any vendor. I know. I love this thing way too much.

I just bought it as well. Holy cow! Heaven! The Colonial is one awesome profile pack.

I have been using Mike's profiles for 4-5 years now. From day one of getting my Kemper. Now I finally get a chance to try them on recordings. I have been blown away by the tones I am getting and how easy this has made tracking guitars. The best part is, I can focus on trying to write and play the best parts and don't have to waste any time trying to get the best tones, because I have them at the touch of the space bar. In this video, all the rhythm guitars are my Les Paul jr and my tele through one of Mike's 65 Champ profiles. I think its in the vintage pack. The lead tone is the LDW 2.2 from pack 1 or 2. Not a single tweak to the profiles. These are the profiles as I downloaded them.

Yeah, Mike's profiles sound good everywhere: headphones, computer monitors, FRFR, recorded, you name it.
About the only thing they don't sound good on is country music!
(joke ppl)

I agree. I'm using Mbritt profiles 99% of the time, live and recording. Not a single tweak, except turning on and off delay and reverb.
