As I'm searching (since a while now) for a light weigh very portable solution, at 17 lbs, they look to be interesting. 
But tonewise I will have to give them a try, but in the meantime someone know them, tried them with KPA?
I would like to hear about the JBL EON 510, someone tried them?

That's true, they are really a fly-weight, but I've never heard a good guitar-cab made of plastic....

Just a heads up. A friend of mine has 3 of the eon 15s that have had some reliability issues. They will randomly just shut down and not start up again. My guess is that they are overheating. It has happened to 2 of the 3 he owns. They sound ok, but not great. It's pretty low end stuff.

Just in general: I believe for an FRFR cab, when it's designed properly, the material of the cab itself is of very low relevance.
It's not that they are supposed to resonate with the tone like a traditional guitar cab, is it?
