I recently bought two TS/TS cables from Vovox for connecting my guitar with the Kemper and the Kemper with my CLR. These are expensive "high end" cables which get only good comments by users. I was sceptical and thought there sure is some voodoo involved but I have to say that these cables are indeed excellent. They add some clarity and definition to the signal which is imho audible.

Vovox-cables are good, but actually too expensive, you pay for the name.
There are a lot of excellent cables available, Klotz-Titanium, Fatsoflex, Sommer-cable. Mogami, Monster ect.
I just tried the Klotz Titanium and was surprised how good the cables are, eye-to-eye to Vovox & Co, but less expensive.By the way: the most important cable is the one from your guitar to the KPA-Input, you don't need very expensive high-end cables from outputs to FRFR-cab.

Re-amped and double- blind, please!
Might be difficult when comparing cables... I mean... how would you record the same DI signal with 2 cables ...

Have your girlfriend plug it in.

If you like the sound of them, they may be worth the money. Anyone want to create a Kemper EQ setting that makes a $20 cable sound like an expensive cable?
I am fine with inexpensive cables, as long as they are solidly built and reliable.
THIS guy used horrible cables, and it never seemed to bother him -

I got some decent cables and the only time I can tell the difference is with Acoustic going to a proper acoustic amp. But with Electric, I don't really hear any signal degradation.
As to Hendrix, I got a coily cable just because I heard he used one and they must be made better than his was as mine doesn't seem to have any noticeable degradation.

The really old ones had thinner conductors, so they were more prone to breakage. The connectors were more prone to wearing out than newer designs, too.
