favorite acoustic guitar rigs or profiles

    hey gang,


    I am a long time amateur acoustic guitar player. usually unplugged.
    (that said, I love electric too. alot.)


    but the purpose of this thread, is to ask you all please if anyone could recommend some profiles to try for plugging an acoustic guitar into.
    maybe even for recording directly into my DAW from the Kemper with?


    I'm assuming that really any old clean profile would work.
    (I have searched. didn't find much.)
    but I would love to hear if anyone has any particular rigs or profiles that they really like.

    the factory profiles Acoustic A, Acoutic B etc. were made for just this.
    also experiment with the parallel path, to have the profile and your unprocessed signal at the same time (RIG button, page 4)
    in Parallel Path mode, the first two slots (A and B) are for the DI signal, C and D are for the profile.


    and/or you can use the CABINET -> "Character" parameter to make the profile smoother.

    I like the following acoustic profiles:
    - Acoustic A-E (M. Franzkowiak)
    - Acoustimax 1 & 1SM (Tuna)
    - Acoustic Dream (Flitzefinger)
    - Taylor 114 (DoZ')


    For Acoustics, I think DI profiles of clean pre-amps work best...try searching for Avalon or Neve on RigX.
