Is there is any sound change for everyone who uses FRFR or records with the Kemper direct?
If not, the next generation DI profiles could marketed separately to the Kemper users who use using guitar cabinets with linear power amps.

Why? They work for both type of users.
I agree with Guitartone. Any future commercial profile should be made with the new amp/cab separation (unless you need to mod the amp to put the DI box between the amp and the speaker).
Well it depends on how you are creating profiles. For my part, i like to set an amp to its sweet spot and only keep the variations in the cab section. This means you will have like 20 profiles that sound totally different over an FRFR but completely the same when using only the DI. Doesn´t make much sense in this case.
Other profilers keep the miking constant and only change the amp settings. In this case the new profile format makes much more sense.
@tylerhb : I think this is valuable in both cases: New method could lead to less profiles : in many cases, profiles are made with a set of amp settings (different channels, some sweet spot per channel) and differents micing configuration : so you get "A x B" profiles to cover all combinaisons: With the new method, you can profiles your amp settings and your mics settings separately, so to cover the same tone range, you get only "A + B" profiles.
And I think I'll wait until all of the profiles in the new format will Kemper team first

I'm not going to buy more profiles done the "traditional" way. Looking forward to the new ones.

But pre-amp without cab is not the same that new pre-amp
For a "direct in a mix", for me, it s the same but if you play with your own cab, the new profiles must be better.
The new DI method is only of use to those who will use it. I don't think many will. The bulk will still use the complete profile.
My bottom line is how good a profile is when I'm playing with it. After that, I'm not going to fault anyone but myself as to how I project that sound to others.
But as in all things, this is a "what the market will bear". If people demand it, Commercial sellers will provide it. But it WILL come at a costs, since it's significantly more involved to profile this way.
As for me, I'll take the cheaper non-DI profiles if they are TAF/MBritt awesome.
Adding a $40 DI Box between the amps Speaker Out and Kemper Return is a few seconds extra work...

its not only good for people that use real cabs. This makes every profile usable, if you dont like the micing - pick one of your favourite merged cabs! Not like before including Amp colour...pure cabs!
not needed anymore, especially when you look for some rare amp and cant find a profile miced to your taste. Also you dont need 3475 5150 profiles anymore. 3-4 different settings profiled done - just switching cabs

Can one of you guys take a photo for me showing a cable going from the "speaker out" of an amp into the Behringer Ultra G and out of the Ultra G into the back of the Kemper...if possible, I'd appreciate it.

Yes yes yes and soon i can remove xlr input from my Kemper, i can buy Some IR from Redwirez use CabMaker > and then maybe i can load some vsti like tsex50 or podfarm to my kemper and thats all. 
For me still good amp+good cab+good mic and mic pos is the best solution - thats why i bought Kemper! I want to have a copy (the best possible) what profiles. And it is the amp> cab> mic pos. Amen!

yes...and that will not change so i dont get your problem with the new stuff
you dont have to use it..but others will, me included and no i dont will use IRs
