Yes, it's possible.
Thanks. I also have the Focusrite Scarlette 8i6....would that do a better job than routing through the Axe? The reason I am asking is I bought the 8i6 about a year ago but haven't used it more than 30 min or so back then. I went to try it out but have misplaced the power adapter, so it looks like I will need to order a new one. Just wondering if there is a big advantage of the one over the other?
Thanks,
Derek
I'd say if you only want to use the Axe as an interface it's far over the top.
Better replace the power adaper of your Focusrite.
Thanks Ingolf.
I already have the Axe II anyway so I just thought I might use it as an interface.
Thanks,
D
No harm in using the Axe as an interface, especially if you make use of its FX. But if it's just to connect your Kemper to your DAW, you should get an adaptor. The Focurite will also have more advanced routing capabilities if you're doing stuff like recording other instruments, vocals, etc.
