Hi guys, As you know Petrucci tested the Mark V 25 watts some monthes ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjkfArHfV6Q Anyone interested if I make some profiles about this ? If I have 20 like for this post, I will do it. :) Please let me know :) NB : it is a different approach of Sinmix, and perhaps a nice complement. This video sounds more "amp in the room" and not raw track guitars as for Sinmix who is a specialist of it (buy his MarkV pack, it will be killer !). I have a profile/rig which sounds so close to the MarkIIC+ clips from 9:55 to 12:00. I dunno if they will fit perfectly in a mix because the clips in the video are not supposed to. For this Sinmix stuff will be dedicated to this. EDIT : A small clip. A/B comparison (on the video at 10:36) 1 : Petrucci 2 : Me IIC+ Lead https://soundcloud.com/djemass/ab-comparison-2ctest3 this cloning profile is in the RM as : C2C+LEAD2 Personnally I prefer the Boogie C2C+LEAD also posted today in the RM which has a better feeling and fits better in a mix. NB : I don't have exactly the same pickups, I have not set up exactly the same reverb/delay, and I am not Petrucci !! :) And here my first attempt for the crunch tone. I created 2 different rigs, each one from a different profile. One is great for the low end stuff and another which seems less compressed and more airy, nice for Angus Young type of thing... https://soundcloud.com/djemass/ab-crunch-test Chug chug tone clip https://soundcloud.com/djemass/chug-chug
