Decent univibe would be great

Gotta agree with Jack here. After lots and lots of tweaking I've gotten some decent sounds, but IMHO the KPA's emulation just isn't up to par with what I'm hearing in other units. See the recent Helix clips for example.

+1 never liked the Kemper's I use it but it could be so much better.

If line 6 can do it........

I agree with what burningyen wrote. You guys should use the like button to promote the request. The number of likes is a clear and easy indicator.

Did you try Phaser Vibe in D slot (before the amp) ?
The sound is more like Hendrix vibe - because he was using Univibe just before the amp!!
Univibe in Effects section souds too "nice" for me.Try it with slot D and some crunch profile:
Rate 4.0
Depth 7.3
Manual 2.9
Feedback 0%
Peak Spread -0.4
Stages 6 -

Have you tried the PHA Uni Trower?
-
Yep, and Andy/TAF's recipe. Nothing has quite nailed it.

Yesterday I finished building my neo-vibe clone and I must say, the KPA uni-vibe-ish effects sound exactly as the neo-vibe doesn't. I have no idea, why it sounds so wrong. The sound is not far away, but something is missing. For the record: the KPA emulation is the closest thing I heard for a univibe simulation. I'm going to build a VC Phaser and try various LFO signals. That's the only reason for the reason I can think of at the moment.

I have uploaded another rotovibe emulation on the rig ex., but it's post amp , one of the key is to get an 'asymmetrical' vibe , the stock ones from the KPA are too 'straight'
It's not perfect, but close enough not to buy these great but expensive pedals
check the thread here ( with clips )

We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy. This was the first thing that really drew my attention when the first videos about the Helix were published. And I was damn envious of the Univibe simulation. I have mentioned before (in another thread) that I find it strange that it took years until a forum user (don't remember him now, but his Robin Trouwers presets are part of Kemper's presets now) came up with a decent univibe setting - when the real thing (stomp) is really plug and play - the only thing you need to adjust is the speed. ... But there's hope for further improvement - and honestly, the univibe is a nice icing on a cake here and there, but not something I would need on a day to day basis (otherwise I would buy one of the better replicas out there). And yet, if the KPA has a univibe stomp, it should not be necessary to spend hours and hours of triang to dial in a half decent vibe sound.

yeah, the Helix one is good, I agree !

I did some recording with the Kemper Phaser / Vibe. I own a few Uni Vibe Clones and even a Vintage Uni Vibe from 1969. So that´s the closest sound I can get with the kemper
