If i Switch from Performance to Browser Mode in 80% I get this on the kemper Display
If i Switch from Performance to Browser Mode in 80% I get this on the kemper Display
I've not gotten that and I'm constantly switching between browse and performance. Have you tried reinstalling the FW. If this doesn't fix it I'd contact support and send them a backup aswell
In 80%? 8 out of 10 times?
I think what florian10 is saying is that 80% of the time he's getting this message when switching between the 2 modes
After reboot i have the problem around 5 of 10 Times
I try to reeinstall the Firmware and Hope this will help
I just tried to switch back and forth and I never get this.
You should contact support if reinstalling doesn't help.
I cannot recreate this.
please make backups and contact support.
thanks
Since I connected the Remote, my Kemper sends my guitar sound to the outputs after I launch it into Tuner mode. So I can play and hear myself in Tuner mode although it's turned to "mute". Going to Browser mode and back to Tuner mode fixes that problem.
Did anybody else encouter this?
//Edit: It seems to be firmware 3.0 as this problem appears without connecting the Remote, too
//Edit2: Seems to be a known issue http://www.kemper-amps.com/for…?postID=205621#post205621
Hi everybody,
I noticed 3 things:
1) my Looper Location is set to POST. That means after the reverb, but pre cabinet? Why? When I want to play clean (without cabinet) over an overdriven sound, the Loop gets nasty highs, which where filtered by the cab.
2) When I put any FX in the X Position the volume of that effect changes the looper play back volume.
3) I get short sound interuption when changing the presets, while the looper Plays back. Can this be improved?
Greetings!

It is in 2.8 as well. Here, it appears ramdomly at boot-time, or it doesn't.
Have you set the Tuner to Mute in both Browse and Performance modes?
Try turning Mute Off, and back On again.

can you make sure the looper is really set to post?
record a loop, change the rig - the playback sound shouldn't change.
thanks

I've tried turning the mute to off and back on again on tuner, browser, performance and profiling mode...it didn't help. After rebooting I still got this problem.

I've just tried that, too. Looper is set to post. I've recorded a loop and changed some cabinet parameters (low/high shift). That didn't alter the sound on the main or spdif outputs but it definitely changed the sound on the monitor out (cab sim off). The sound also changes on monitor out, if you record a loop and switch to another rig (or bypass the cabinet completely). I've tested it on a few new merged profiles (MB5153 Ch2, GT75 Clean 12, Edvaha 5150III Hi Sue Blue) and on old studio profiles (TJ-74 SuperLead High) and it appears on all of them.
(I'm on FW 3.0.0.10856 )

Hi Don, tried it again And found, that not the sound but the volume changes. Those Profiles have an Fx in the x or mod slot with raised or lowered Volume. still if i disable cabinet, the loop sounds like a DI profile. I'm on public beta 3.0.0. 10845b. Looper Location on Post
Funny who should bring this up. I was jamming the looper at a sound check last week and the band PA is fed with the monitor out. When I recorded and then changed profile (I always have an EQ in the X slot) I did notice something strange happen like reverb was added to the sound which would obviously make it sound like the volume had changed a bit. I'm now off to another gig so I'll give it a go again in sound check and see if it happens again. I thought it was just my ears or the fact that I wasn't used to the room. I will report back later tonite
Ok I tested the looper last nite after our gig and it was fine. No volume issues here all was well. But..... I was getting some strange issue last nite which I am going to send to support regarding arig that was crackling, which doesn't normally do this.
........
If i Switch from Performance to Browser Mode in 80% I get this on the kemper Display
After updating to newest Firmware 3.0, no Problems anymore.
switching from performance Mode to Browser Mode is Even faster as well
