KPA send Midi PC or CC with Remote FX buttons 1-4

i'm using Setlist Manager on my iPad and would like to be able to send initial Patch change info from it to my KPA and then to my Pc to my GR55

with performance mode I have little use in controlling stomps individually as the slots hold everything I need for that song/section. That said it's useful but to make the Remote more flexible and allow it to compete with other midi boards, the ability to send CC/PC off I-IV would be amazing.

+1 Even if you have a stomp assigned, sending a midi cc could be useful along with it to turn on an external pedal as well as an internal stomp/effect in the KPA.

Even better, the expression//external control jacks that allow you to connect up to four switches, (or a volume/exp pedal in one jack and a two button footswitch in the other). It would be nice if one plugged into those could be set to do midi.

Yes! This would be great. I don't currently have any external pedals to control, but when they get around to more midi functionality, this would be great!

Pretty sure this is in the pipeline, but might not be linked to switches I-IV, but rather the lower row of 1-5.

Either way it will be more functionality for those with midi switching needs which is always good. I'm sure it is on it's way too.

It would be great if we could have something similar to the G-System where you can reassign a button to either momentary or toggle and whatever CC you want it to send. It was pretty limited but very useful.

In an ideal world it would be fantastic if were set up as a stomp/effect/X slot, controlled from the remote and then you could select:

1: PC/CC/Note
2: Latch/Momentary
3: Value/Velocity

You could also maybe put MSB and LSB in there too but little steps. I'm sure the above, plus the ability to control item 3 with and expression pedal would solve most people's external gear issues? It'd also be a huge help for DAW users eg. for controlling Ableton Session View or similar.

I would settle with just the tap tempo having a cc out or a midi beat clock out to sync external gear!!

I would love to control Ableton Live via MIDI with Effect Buttons 1-4 (Start, Stop, Next / Previous Scene) as I do now with my Voodoo Labs Ground Control Pro. Actually this is the only missing feature which keeps me from buying a KPA Remote (and I want one so bad...).

There already is is midi clock out

That was sent a long time before they fixed the midi click out feature

I would like the Remote to send out midi controllers with (at least) the 4 assignable buttons, the tap tempo button, and the expression pedals and switches connected to it. The 5 performance slots buttons too if possible. It would be nice to send out a midi controller (values 0 when OFF, 127 when ON) in addition to the standard behavior it has now.

The Performance Slot pages could be used to indicate which Controller Numbers you want to send out with your Remote (per button and per slot). The System page could be using for indicating if you want to send out this midi data to the midi out and/or thru ports...
