Maybe holding down the Looper button on the remote for 5 seconds could toggle it.

I think holding down the looper button on the remote could be it's own menu item that could have all different kinds of things assigned to it. This could be the first one! Good idea.

When you play with looper live and want to switch to pre or post - 5 second is a lot of time:) -

True that was just a random figure, could be 2 secs, I don't think you would usually change mid song though, but I could be wrong.

The looper function of the Kemper is very good !
Being able to toggle PRE or POST is drfinitivrlly an usefull improvement.
For Me, the better choice is to use the (down) \/ button on the remote to toggle PRE/POST while in the Looper mode.
In Looper mode this button is not used anaway, and it can be an improvement as I (and other people) offen change the Looper PRE/POST settings.

I had never thought of it. How would you use the feature?

I noticed that switching from pre to post, or post to pre, the looper deletes the loop. that makes sense because otherwise you would run a recorded amp-sound for a second time through an amp (from post to pre). that might sound "special" and volume changes might occur. the other way round (pre to post) would result in un-amped recorded sound being feed to the output.
