Looking for Masters of Tone & Kemper

  • Hi all!


    Would anyone have a hint for me how to create a sound like this:

    It´s John Mayers "Gravity" in a Live version and although I just like the sound of the guitar during the solo, I just can´t figure out how to re-.create that. 8|
    I´m using a Kemper (3.0) and a Fender Custom Shop David Gilmour Strat - should be the right ingredients, right?


    I´ll appreciate any hint from you guys (and ladies) ^^

    I also think he must use a TON of Compression....but I will start with the amps for now

  • There's a profile in the MBritt Dumble pack that is based on JM's tone, if you crank the amp compression on that to like 7.5 then it sounds pretty darn close on the neck pickup of my tele
