Looking for Masters of Tone & Kemper

Hi all!

Would anyone have a hint for me how to create a sound like this:

It´s John Mayers "Gravity" in a Live version and although I just like the sound of the guitar during the solo, I just can´t figure out how to re-.create that.
I´m using a Kemper (3.0) and a Fender Custom Shop David Gilmour Strat - should be the right ingredients, right?

I´ll appreciate any hint from you guys (and ladies)

I would look for two rock amp profiles on rig exchange , maybe try to use the kemper tubescreamer od with warm settings , and be sure to use the right pickup on your strat same as Mayer on video when tuning the profile .

I also think he must use a TON of Compression....but I will start with the amps for now

There's a profile in the MBritt Dumble pack that is based on JM's tone, if you crank the amp compression on that to like 7.5 then it sounds pretty darn close on the neck pickup of my tele

I use a clean Fender Deluxe profile with the Green Scream stomp twice, running completely flat. Lower the tone on your strat and it's pretty close in my opinion.
