  • Thanks DamianGreda (and all the others) for the hard work!

I finally tested how the two-way MIDI communication work if there are more parameters (and more parameter requests):

(It is a little laggy when I set the "parameter request interval" to 50 ms and turn the knobs on Kemper)

  • Current Stomp types

    (I browsed through all stomps and sent F0 00 20 33 02 7f 41 00 32 00 00 00 F7 to request the current stomp type in Stomp slot A)

    Example: send F0 00 20 33 02 7f 01 00 32 00 01 12 F7 to set "Single Delay" to Stomp A slot

    • $F0: SYX
    • $00 $20 $33: Access/Kemper Manufacturer ID
    • $02: Product Type $02 = Kemper Profiler
    • $7f: Device ID $7f = OMNI
    • $01: The function code for a single parameter change is $01
    • $00: Addresses the instance of the parameter (always 0)
    • $32: Controller MSB (MSB of Stomp A address page in this example)
    • $00: Controller LSB (LSB of Stomp A address page in this example)
    • $01: Value MSB (Single Delay in this example)
    • $12: Value LSB (Single Delay in this example)
    • $F7: End of Sysex

  • Was interested in downloading this and using to control the Kemper. The thread is kind of old so I wanted to make sure that it was still a working version and not a dead project. Can anybody verify still working in windows?

  • Recently I had a conversation with Damian (OP) and he is sending greetings to all KPA forum users together with small surprise!

KPA FX EDITOR for quick fun with delays (and all KPA fx's) on windows via MIDI.

MANUAL: Connect KPA MIDI IN And OUT with your MIDI interface. Open a program or bpanelz with ctrlr (from ctrlr.org) and from MIDI menu select Input , Controller , Output Device (select your MIDI interface) . Then Click to Connect and select slot witch you want to edit. You can select "fx type" then or select fx type with browse knob on KPA.

EDIT3 08.03.2018:Reverb added. Fixed some bugs with connection. I have to find a way to display values like in KPA.

  • really awesome, this kind of midi controller and editor is so sweet, time to search for a PC USB midi cable!

Yes, it’s awesome. Finally an easy and convenient way to set up the «new» delays. It’s a pity Kemper can’t be bothered to add this functionality to RigManager, though.

  • Hate to ask but is there a "Mac" version of this lil Jem?

If you use FRFR the benefit of a merged profile is that the cabinet is totally separated in the profile.

  • Hi spikey, maybe you missed this from the post:
