Firmware 3.0.2 Rig Tempo / Performance Tempo: Problems not fixed?

I just updated to firmware 3.0.2 to get rid of the performance tempo issue/bug.
So I tried to set the tempo for each performance...but it is overriding ALL performane tempos.
Maybe I'm just too stupid to figure it out....

Here's what I do:
Each of my songs is one performance. Stepping up/down on the remote steps through my songlist/setlist.
Slots in each performance are used for different parts of the song (Intro, Clean, Solo etc.).
I want to set the tempo per song. This should be used by delays etc. Our drummer plays to a click...so we are all "synced".

I tried all option now i the rig menu..."Use performance tempo" checked or not checked. "Lock tempo" checked or unchecked.
Once changed I stored the performance.

But when I change the tempo of the next performance the other ones are changed as well.....it's driving me crazy!

Does 3.0.2 work better for you guys? Does your tempo setting work?

Works fine here on 3.0.2 with TEMPO ENABLE and USE PERF TEMPO checked, LOCK TEMPO needs to be un-checked of course.
I also use one performance per song.

Hi Ingolf,
user error on my side Thanks for your help.
I always un-checked LOCK TEMPO, changed the bpm setting and then checked LOCK TEMPO again.
I thought this would really lock the tempo for this song.
Apparantly LOCK TEMPO means something else ....

So...done.
All songs added as performances with the correct tempo.
Plus 2 general purpose performances (one based on AC30 one on JCM 800) w/o temp assignment.
All song-performances are based on those two amps plus individual song effects.

Howdy new here,, ever since I have updated to 3 there is a strange noise when I switch patches,wasn't there before, anyone else hear it? like the profile is scrambled digital right before the new profile loads, very bad for live,,and recording,,un usable at the moment,,,

As nobody seems to have mentioned anything like this you should
1. Open a support ticket incl. a backup of your unit and a recording.
2. Better open a separate thread to condense answers better.

You should use the "Init Globals" function on the first page of the SYSTEM menu.

is there a way to go back to the last OS that worked correctly? still digital noise in between every patch change,,I have a 2600 dollar paper weight,,

looks like the second full reset did it much quieter in between patch changes, Thanks so much for the advise This is truly an amazing piece of gear,

Glad you sorted it out!

In general, you can install almost any KAOS version you want, with some technical exceptions
