I used the Remote live for the first time last night...I even had occasion to use the looper function.
All I can say is wow. Having used the Ground Control Pro and the Rocktron Midi Raider previously, it is just SOoooo nice not to have to bend over and tediously step through all of the parameters on every stinking foot-switch, on every bank, just to make it work. And then, any change I want to make is automatically reflected on the Remote.....glorious!!
If I want to make a change in the rig order, I don't have to dig through the menus and reassign the midi CC numbers. I no longer have to bend over and squint to see the tuner. I don't have to fool around with the power over midi cable and it's adapter. I can either tap-in the tempo, or let the KPA decide for me mid-song. It takes up less room on the stage and weighs less.
And add to all of that, when the updated Rig Manager is released, that allows easy saving and editing of performances, it will be even better!
