MIDI question: mapping CC#7 to CC#1 (volume to wah)

I'm using my GR-20 as a MIDI controller. The GR-20's expression pedal can output CC#7 or CC#4, but not CC#1. Is there a way to get the KPA to map CC#7 to CC#1, either system-wide or (in fantasy world) on a rig-by-rig basis? I tried using the "WahPedal to Vol" setting, but it didn't appear to work. I'm on v3.0.2. I know there are external MIDI processors that can do this, but if I have to add another box to my setup I might as well just plug a 2nd expression pedal into the KPA.

I read the GR-20's manual and it appears there is no way to make this work. It won't send CC#1 like you stated and the Kemper's CC's are not changeable.
